AOE3 bears little resemblance to its prequels, and in fact it's more like a mixture of Settlers 5: Heritage Of Kings, Warcraft 3 and very definitely Command and Conquer: Generals. It even reminded me of Icewind Dale and Desperados in parts. I played the game on Moderate difficulty, since it's the one most people will choose.
Whatsthe differences between the AI HD Difficulties and the AI CD Difficulties? I thought they changed the AI so they don't cheat? Is that the HD or CD difficulties?
Itsjust like the ai in the steam version of aoe3. It does not actively search for you. It doesn't try to corner you, catch your resources first and keep coming until your existence is erased. Huh, the AoE3:DE AI does exactly that. Unlike 2:DE AI, it actually hunts you down and attacks from unexpected directions.
